READ WITH YOUR CHILDREN:

During Mass, when the priest offers the bread and wine to God, he says a special prayer. For the wine, he prays:

"Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
for through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you:
fruit of the vine and work of human hands,
it will become our spiritual drink."

Do you remember what we respond with?

"Blessed be God forever.”

Responding with “Blessed be God forever" is our way of agreeing and praising God for His goodness!
