Christ the King, explained for children

On Christ the King Sunday, we celebrate how Jesus is the ruler of everything in heaven and on earth. His kingdom is different from any other. Jesus is King because He is the Son of God and He came to teach us how to love others. He didn’t come to rule with power or force. Instead, He showed us that being a king means serving others, being kind, and helping those in need.

Let’s think about it: Imagine being a king or queen, but instead of living in a huge palace, you go to help the poor, the sick, and the lonely. That’s what Jesus did! He taught us that the greatest way to be in His Kingdom is by loving God and loving our neighbors.
